Self defense and narcissism ebooks downloaded 1,000 times

Thank you to my ebook readers! loribook-copy

The free self defense ebook  Think Like A Black Belt: Take Charge of Your Own Safety and the powerhouse ebook on narcissists (and other crazy makers, emotional predators, or unsafe people) The Narcissist: A User’s Guide have generated over 1,000 downloads.

The response from readers has been overwhelmingly positive and hundreds have received my Think Like A Black Belt Newsletter (available when downloading the e-book of the same name).

The 1,ooo-download high point comes just after my 1-year anniversary of this blog, which I began in May of last year.

As my fellow bloggers know, I’ve been blogging longer than that, but this website on physical, mental, and emotional self defense taps into my decades of martial arts and self defense knowledge and training.

Hundreds of comments and emails (thank you for the feedback!) prove this site fits the need for many looking for information or insight into dealing with those who seek to do others harm — be they bullies, bull-shitters, abusers, criminals, or predators.

The Think Like A Black Belt website helped me connect with writer and blogger Betsy Wuebker who co-authored The Narcissist: A User’s Guide with me. Now she and I are combining our dynamic skills on an even more exciting project. It will focus on a comprehensive understanding the many trials, troubles, and tribulations that come from a relationship with a narcissist — but that’s all I’ll say for now! We are working behind the scenes to make sure our project rocks before unveiling it.

As for this site, keep watching for ways to Think Like A Black Belt.

And please leave a comment about what kind of future articles you’d like to see.

Thank you for visiting and learning about self defense.
If you think others can benefit, please pass it on!

And thank you for a very wonderful first year!

Congrats! So…are you going to take our advice the next time around and sell the book? :)

Can’t wait to see what you’re working on now. I hope we get to be a part of that process too!

Hi Deb,
Who said it was a book? I’m not saying what it is. Not yet.
:)

Down the road, when the big success machine unloads on us, we will need lots of help!

Congrats Lori. I’ll be waiting patiently for more good stuff from both you and Betsy.

Hi Lori – This is an awesome milestone! Remember when we said if it all just helps ONE person? So excited about our new project, too! It’s all so very good.

Hi Davina,
And Good Stuff it will be!

Hi Betsy,
I’m surprised by how consistent the downloads are becoming. Our project will help so many more!

Hi Lori and Betsy .. I need to come back and read more .. especially as I realise that I have it in the family – being single and able to mentally move away has been hugely relieving .. and even though I’ve only glanced here – because I’m aware of what’s what .. I haven’t let things upset me at this end. But the learning curve will be useful – and I’ve already referenced it (from the bits I’ve read) – so I know it will be handy for others … when my own life is more sorted and I’ve moved etc

Congratulations though on the downloads – really good to know – you’re tapping into an area that could be such a help to so many ..

Looking forward to the new project .. enjoy the process .. Hilary

Hi Hillary,
Thank you!

Recent feedback on the book makes me realize the upcoming project will be far more impacting. So far the process has been enjoyable — thanks!

Wow, congrats! I just came back from vacation when I spent some time with a narcissistic family member…

Hi Vered,
Ouch. I’m betting you were ready for the person, yes?

If you wish to share, I’d like to hear how it went.
