Alert-dog

The Tweet:
Best, oldest & truest warning alarm and protector from bad guys — a good watchdog!

Beyond the Tweet:
This is our latest addition to the family.

Sure, she’ll take another hour or more a day to feed, walk, train, clean up after, and referee between her and the cats, but I was taught animal ownership is a privilege, not a hobby.

Plus, she can act as a four-legged alarm who will protect us with ferocity. Another bonus? Walking a dog can get you in shape!

What a fabulous pup! Such an intelligent face! She’s a little German Shepherd, no? And what else in the mix?

Hi Betsy,
She has some striking lines, yes, and smart as a whip. The only verifiable markings look to be blue heeler, but the rest is unknown.

Hi Lori .. Heinz 57 – but quite pretty! How lovely – new pups are fun, dogs are so caring and so pleased to be with you .. enjoy her .. and I suspect the cat will win out!? Enjoy the rest of the week and weekend .. with the extra exercise automatically built in now .. have fun! Hilary

Hi Hilary,
One cat is certainly the Alpha pet, but the other cat and dog are still working out their rank.

Hi Davina,
She is hug-able and adorable! Smart about everything, but the concept of fetching an item. That will take awhile.
